Hi I’m Pietro Zuco. I’m an Italian full time Mobile application developer, a photographer and a digital nomad. Photography and programming are my passions since I was a kid. I come from a mixed cultural background having an Italian father and a Colombian mother. I spent the first 8 years of my life in Venezuela, then I grew up in Italy between Rome and Milan. Then moved to Spain, Japan, and I’m still moving around.
I spend most of my time taking pictures, programming applications, learning languages and traveling around, specially in Japan, where I spent more than 6 years living in Tokyo, immersed in a full japanese corporative working environment. It’s the country that marked and changed my life in so many ways. It will be always my second home.
Photography is a way to capture time from our own perspective, which, in certain cases tells a story or just presents an instant that will never be the same again. I use it to share and explore the world around me, even small things can tell something, and to train my eye to capture what will be lost otherwise. Small pieces of reality that compose the whole picture in time. Sometimes I think that walking with a camera is like having an external third eye. I’m mainly interested in street photography, fine art nude female photography and macro.
