After Google decided to kill one of those few things it did right, like Google Reader, I was in a RSS blackout for some time. I got my OPML file with my blogs but I couldn’t find a home for it. I didn’t like the solutions at that time. I wanted the same thing I had before!! The interface of Google reader was just right, clean, simple, no BS and no graphical noise. Just straight to the point.
I started using Digg Reader. It’s really nice! Clean, fresh, almost a clone of Google Reader. I can find the things were I was used to. At the moment I really like it! Give it a try if you still didn’t.
One missing important feature. Export! I couldn’t see any export button to get an OPML or XML file with my feeds. I won’t add any new feed at the moment. I will wait and see if they will implement this feature soon. If they don’t, in that case my advice is to run away from Digg. At least Google Reader gave me the possibility to migrate to another service.
